Deviations of welded joints

Learning outcome Comprehensive knowledge on deviations and types of tests
How to conduct Opening: (10 minutes) The trainer gives a short presentation on deviations (with slides 1-8) AND run a short one page exam with 5-6 questions to test what the learners remember from the classification. The trainer ask questions like this: „What is the name of the deviations where you can see black and white differences ont he opposite sides of the weld?”
Mini lesson (15 minutes): The trainer describes and shows how to make a comprehensive and good quality examination test of any kind:
* prepare: read the material and see the videos attached
* Forming questions: finding appropriate questions (open or closed questions)
* Writing the tests with the questions.
* Creating the correcting templates for the test.
Work time (20 minutes): The teacher divides the participants into 4 – 5 subgroups according to the content. The subgroups have the same task: First, read the corresponding slides, watch the corresponding video, then produce a written test from one or two of the deviations of the material. The written test should contain only a 2 questions per topic and put on an A2 size page with markers.
Share (approximately 30 min): The Groups will run a short comptetion. All the videos will played in a row only once. Then the groups will put their questions on the wall so that everyone in the classroom can clearly see it. Then they answer the questions in their own notebooks in 10 minutes. When the 10 minutes are over, they correct their answers and the trainer helps to understand the material if neccessary.
