How to conduct it | Connecting to topic – 5 min 1. The trainer introduces in brief the tasks of the workshop Interaction – 10 min 1. The trainer presents the advantages of using an electronic presentation, by explaining the difference between delivering a simple oral presentation and delivering a presentation by using an electronic presentation. 2. The trainees are invited to present their expertise, positive and negative, in using electronic presentations. 3. Open discussion is encouraged by the trainer Topics detailing - Brief presentation of the digital tools, both hardware and software types – 10 min 1. Trainer gives mini lesson to clarify: · Why to use an electronic presentation? · What are the main elements to be used in a slide and how can be formatted? · How to animate an element? · How to create a slideshow? Topics to discuss: · Start PowerPoint; edit and view a presentation · Describe the different PowerPoint features in each view · Use the outline to create and edit the text of a presentation · Insert a new slide into a presentation; change the layout of an existing slide · Use the Clip Organizer to add or change clip art on a slide · Apply a design template to a new presentation · Add animation and transition effects to a presentation · Insert comments into a presentation · Insert WordArt into a presentation · Insert a Word table and an Excel chart into a presentation · Animation · Slideshow. Exercise – Case study – 15 min 1. The trainer creates 3 groups and gives 3 exercises: 2.
