How to conduct it | Operationalization: WORKSHOP: Exploring the didactic potential of some social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, ..., etc.) Teaching hour: 1. Opening Explain in a maximum of 3 minutes the goals and expected results of this exercise: - what and why is learned. Answer the question why social networks are a suitable medium for education. 2. Mini lesson - maximum 5 minutes Introduction: Explain the importance of the potential of social networks for education. Context: Pay attention to the implications of generational differences in the global educational environment. Activities: How to determine the potential of social networks. Focus on the network that students most often use in their private lives. Working material (proposal or personal choice): - proposal: Exercise 1_1 , Exercise 1_2 3. Working hours - 32 minutes - practical activities and discussions Work on the topic - 22 minutes 5 groups of 2 participants work on assessing the potential of the selected social network. Discussion - 10 minutes Each group presents their conclusions in 1 minute. All conclusions are discussed for the last 5 minutes. 4. Assessment. Quiz - 3 minutes - multiple choice questions (maximum 10 questions) |
Closing remarks | The model of the workshop that will give the optimal result in the creation of new competencies of the participants is the application of the flipped classroom with micro-learning on social media and constructivist approach with cognitive scaffolding. |
