Competence unit entitled „Digital competence” has the task to assure to a trainer the main skills in using digital tools and the digital environment to prepare own contents, to teach specific information and to assess the retained information.
The digital competence becomes effective when the teachers and trainers are very well trained. Digital competence is brand new for the ones who are used to discuss about the traditional technologies. The new era forces them to keep self-updated with the new entered technologies.
This competence unit provides digital literacy education of the trainers and teachers. Analysis of training situations revealed the focus topics: detailed information on the digital data and on digital information, basic information on the digital devices and equipment to be used in training, information on the online environment and how to use in secured conditions, online and offline digital tools dedicated to learning process, digital communication and networking and digital media.
