Gamification is the strategic attempt to enhance systems, services, organisations and activities in order to create similar experiences to those experienced when playing games to motivate and engage learners. This is generally accomplished through the application of game-design elements and game principles in non-game contexts.Here you can find classic welding materials with gamified support or simple gamification ideas with that you can put a little flavour into your materials. These include using simulators or simple games such as inserting muliple chocie questions into a presentation. Almost all materials here have attached presentation to download and present in your class if you wish. Game design elements are the basic building blocks of gamification applications. Among these typical game design elements, are points, badges, leader-boards, performance graphs, meaningful stories, avatars, and teammates.
