Learner-Centered Didactics

Learner Centered Didactics aim to engage and encourage learners’ active involvement in the learning process, improving their learning experience through specific strategies that also stimulate and motivate them to be creative and critical thinkers, able to work with others. These strategies include collaborative learning (which aims to enhance learning by engaging learners into working together in groups to share their ideas and points of view to solve a problem and/or to learn new concepts), Problem-Based Learning assignments ( which required finding a solution for a specific problem related to the subject matter at hand and to real world problems) and critical thinking, another feature of the Learner Center Didactics that fosters learners’ ability to conceptualize, apply, analyze, synthesize and evaluate information, reaching their own conclusions
